To some extent, yes. Just by reading your question, I can tell you`re intelligent & well spoken. By reading some of your answers, I believe we may have some things in common. Raised in a loosely religious atmosphere. I think that by not showing Himself to us ,He`s testing our sense of humor. Higher education, I did some time in the big school, but partied my way out. While I don`t have the faintest clue about you, I can`t help but at least feel that I do. ( i may be deluding myself)

Yes. You can really know someone based on their questions/answers.
Here's my guess:
You are a person who has wonderful ideas. And you are very open to new ideas. However, you are quickly disillusioned after encountering a new idea. You are very passionate, loyal to your friends, and feel deeply hurt when people treat you badly. You are uncertain about how you relate to some people in your life. That is, you are unhappy with some, or even many, of the relationships you have. I can't tell from your writing whether you have a significant other...but if you do, you're not happy with the relationship. You have had bad relationships in the past and that bothers you in the current relationship.
You are unaware of your true potential. However, you see yourself as a leader, you stand out among your peers. You are popular with people around you, but at a deep level, you don't know why.
Am I correct? Have I come to know something about you from your question?

I try to not to judge people's overall character. I do not spend enough of time here to know that much about the people.
I think we all have the advantage of the anonymity.

OR based on thier appearance>>>>>>>>>>>
"like a son of man,"[b]dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest.
14His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire.
15His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters.
16In his right He held seven stars, and out of His mouth came a double edged sword. His face was like the sun shineing in all its brilliance.
17When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last.
18I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades

Yup.
I consider one of my best friends in my life to be Godzilla. We eventually struck up a phone friendship too. She's one of the bravest and wisest people I know. She underestimates herself critically tho. I've only been wrong about her once - and that was before I knew her.
(edit) Gosh, listening to 'Zilla n I go on and on about each other. Should we just confess that we're madly in love and engaged? :D

No. A person can be a totally different person on the internet. More bold, outspoken, and can say things they don't really know anything about while sounding intelligent.

people have their own distinct voice when they write, however anyone could be anything they choose to be on the web from what they actually are in real life.
we may know how someone feels on issues such as abortion and religion and whatever but actually knowing who they are is not so easy.

No, it could be misleading .
The protection of total anonymity in R & S prompts people to let themselves go. They wont ask these Qns or give these answers if their identity is to be revealed.

I wouldn't say we can actually know someone through their questions and answers, but we can definitely get a glimpse of their true character.
