I have recently started up ppointe work in ballet class. I had my shoes professionall fitted, and fele comfortable. Latley I have been experinces pain abotu a cm above my toe nail( on the raised middle joint) I am still breaking my shoes in and was concerned could they really be to small, or is this just the pain associated with breaking them in. My teacher is stumped, please help.

You have a rich diet. Huge calcium deposits are cluttering you your joints.Drink lots of water and green tea, also mangosteen fruit will assist as well.

It's not worth damaging your toes or feet. Check with a foot doctor.
