Whatever faith you are, talk to your religious teachers or leaders about this. They will be able to tell you whether masturbation is a sin and why or why not.

My opinion is that it can't be a sin. Sex is designed to be pleasurable. But how can we experience that pleasure to its fullest potential if we don't know our own bodies. Masturbation teaches us what we like and do not like, how our bodies respond. It is a natural expression of the human body.

It do feel good, Lust is toward someone or something, your genitals are yours, now if you lust for someone else then you sin. So go ahead and play with yourself and enjoy.

ya i think its a sin because its lustful but everyone has natural urges and slips once in a while. God wont penalize you for doing it since you didnt know but now you do. i think its lust if youre thinking about a person sexually while doing it

Take it easy there...........if you ask around youll find that there are those who admit to masturbation and there are those who lie......imagine if you spent your life being scared to do anything? and then died and got to heaven and they asked you well, what did you do with your gift of life? What are you gonna say? Would you say you lived life to the full or would you say you were too scared to live? I always try to remember that things in moderation is sensible, and taking things to excess is totally stupid. Masturbation is normal human behaviour, the only damage that i can see is when a person uses it as a way to avoid intimacy with another person, you need to stop beating yourself up mentally I reckon.

Don't be ridiculous! masturbation is not a sin, it is a normal healthy habit! You masturbate as much as you like, hon, a tooth brush to begin with then the handle for deep penetration! Have a good day.

i have no idea. i guess rad the bible and see what it says. i personally don't lust after myself, so i'm not sure how that works. honey, if it helps at all, almost everything in this world is a sin. it just depends on who you're talking to.

Really...lust is a sin? C'mon, now. Use your hand...er...your head. Make your own choices. Sex drive is something we are born with.

i roll my eyes at the notion of masturbation being wrong.

i'm gonna tell you something.. i have a bird.. and my bird masturbates.. now, my bird doesn't have a mate :( no sex for him :( but he jacks off on one of his toys almost all day everyday.

i don't think birds are capable of recognizing emotions like lust...

if a bird can do it, so can you :D

If you're really worried about what some mythological figure thinks about your autoerotic activities, then just don't think about any humans when you're strokin' the ol' lilly.
