I remember a while back, for a while I'd see these flowing streams of purple, usually when at my desk. It seemed to pass through my apartment, heading outside. I'd like to know, from anyone who knows anything about energy, auras - that sort of thing - is there an explanation... or was it just an illusion?

I don't know, but I don't doubt you. I would have to say though, that if it were from God, or if it were intended to be some sort of spiritual direction or even directive, I am a firm believer that you would know what it meant or what it was for already.
I don't believe our Father in Heaven gives us cryptic messages. I think he is clear and purposeful.
Maybe you already know what the vision symbolizes?

Do you have a migraine condition? That can happen before a headache. Now if you told me that you saw that color while meditating with your eyes closed that would be another story. But with your eyes open, I think it is a medical thing.
