Why do Christians think I have no faith?

Question

I have faith that Jesus was not God. Just like I have faith that David Koresh was not God (or we're all in trouble).

I also have faith that Christians will feel sorry for me because I have faith in something besides some dude that walked the earth 2000 years ago.

Pitty from christians isn't what I would expect, but a lot of hissing and booing and calling you the spawn of satan, maybe. There is more hatred in christianity than any religious group I've studied and observed.

Then you have put your faith in something, or someone other than Jesus Christ, or David Koresh. Your faith is just different from theirs.

While it is true that your faith is not in Jesus, I think the operative word you are looking for here is "believe". You BELIEVE that Jesus was not God... and so forth, what I don't get is why do you feel the need to wonder or worry about what we Christians feel or think?? I am just curious... also you do not have my pity, BUT I will be praying...
P.S. Green Angel, my sister I am praying for you too, I really doubt that Jesus wants his children representing with the anger or hatred you seem to posses... Don't judge this person please or you are in danger of judgment yourself!!

Because you do not have faith in the living God. When Christians speak of faith, we are speaking of faith in God. That faith is based on promises of God to be with us throughout our life. We have faith that we will spend eternity in Heaven and that God loves us and will walk with us daily as we go about our lives.

i could consider the two certainly one of your counts. My own opinion is that it incredibly is often the church that places those suggestions into peoples heads ... concern and repenting. as long as you repent when you sin, you're ok. a minimum of it rather is my impact. even though I examine the Bible on occasion, i attempt to enable my own own relationship with God be my cornerstone. i do no longer pass to church because of the fact i detect maximum human beings there to be a splash judgemental, or uninviting. The Bible says, in spite of the shown fact that, that people who have not been taught approximately God or Jesus are no longer exempt from needing to have self belief in God ... that God could be obtrusive in everyday life. that's what introduced me back to Christianity after some years of finding at different religions/techniques of thinking. I endure in ideas this quote from Hamlet: "My words fly up, my ideas proceed to be under: words devoid of ideas under no circumstances to heaven pass." i think of it rather is how particularly some all of us is. Sorry if this did no longer incredibly answer your question. in simple terms throwing some stuff available.

you have the right to believe as you choose. I certainly don't pity you for making that choice. Some,not all Christians, but some, are in major denial, and the only way they can maintain the lie they live is to pity or condemn everyone not like themselves.

No, that's not faith. Faith is believing in something without any evidence. Not believing in something without any evidence is just called common sense.
