I know I've heard it and now I've been asked to supply scripture proof of where it says that Jesus is coming in the Eastern sky.

oh, and by the way, go to myspace.com/stevelotto and you'll hear a song by Disciple called Going Home. In its chorus, you'll hear him say, "I've seen Jesus comin' in the Eastern sky, and I'm going home." such a tight song, you gotta listen to it with headphones or some tight system to get the bass guitar solos in there.

Thanks guys.

Matthew 24:27 says "For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."

answer: No, there are not. Any who say there is are in simple terms backtracking Jesus into the Tanakh or reading in trouble-free terms the previous testomony - that's an incorrect translation of the Hebrew writings. Jews not often think of approximately Jesus except a Christian demands to comprehend why they do no longer. Jesus did no longer fulfill the prophecies to be the Jewish messiah and he wasn't a prophet so he's no longer portion of their faith. surprisingly trouble-free. they do no longer "reject" Jesus, they do no longer comprise him or the religion geared up around him. Christianity is opposite to Judaism - Jews have self belief: G-d can not exchange into human. G-d does not call for human sacrifice. No guy can take the sins for yet another. The Messiah would be human, no longer of divine foundation and he will accomplish the prophecies in one life time - no 2nd coming. Jews do no longer choose a "savior" - they make amends to those they have harmed and ask forgiveness from that individual and G-d. they don't have self belief they have the only pipeline to G-d so they do no longer could convert all of us. Jews will worship no guy so they can not exchange into Christians and proceed to be real to their G-d. # # # Others are incorrect - those 3 hundred prophecies are not all a pair of messiah - a number of those have been approximately present day activities, the Jewish human beings and a king - no longer a pair of messiah between the mistranslations - unique Hebrew: youthful lady Christian/English translation - virgin

Jesus Coming From The East

I think you are referring to this passage:

"For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man."

Matthew 24:27

Don't know of anything more specific off hand.

When Jesus gloriously returns, the whole universe will know it.

"For just like the lightning, when it flashes out of one part of the sky, shines to the other part of the sky, so will the Son of Man be in His day. " Luke 17:24

It doesn't say HE comes from the east.

Rev 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
