I have seen so called "knuckle buckles" for sale on the internet. These are basically brass knuckles, but with a tab that makes them able to be called belt buckles. The site I have seen with these specifies some places they will not sent them too. Does this imply they are legal someplaces?

I live in the State of Illinois.

They're legal only if you have brass fingers.

Brass knuckles are usually only legal on brass statues! They are specifically illegal to own, carry or use in The District of Columbia, California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York and Rhode Island. They are prohibited in Canada and illegal to carry.

They are not legal in the US. They probably have already had legal problems with the states they will not send them to and don't want to risk more problems or have to spend more money on legal fees.

Heavily illegal. However; A roll of dimes clenched in your fist works just as well. Careful, you could kill someone this way.

Many are advertised and sold as "paperweights". Yes, in most cities they are banned items.
