If Kosovo becomes independent, should not Kurdistan break away from Turkey, and shouldn't Pontus (northeast Turkey) revert back to its Greek inhabitants? Shouldn't Istanbul revert back to Constantinople?? If Kosovo becomes independent, why not have all of the foregoing happen, as well? It's only fair.

Their was a treaty between Greece and Turkey in 1923 that included a population transfer and the each nation forfeiting all claims to disputed territories such as Pontus. Additionally the current population is Turk not Greek.

Istanbul-Constantinople is a name change they can do it if they wish it dosent mean much.

The Kurds in South East Turkey has been mistreated and they desire Independence. I believe they should hold a referendum to determine what territory should go to a new Kurdish state and what should be part of Turkey. In return Turkey should be fast-tracked to the EU.

Kosavo should also be independent. Maybe the territories with a Serbian majority like north Kosavo should say part of Serbia but the rest of Kosavo should should get the Independence that its populace demands.

many countries lead to 'stan' (Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan and so on). It unquestionably potential 'land of', as Turkmenistan is the classic living house of the Turkmen ethnic team. Turks and Turkmen are the two contributors of a much broader ethnic team universal as Turkics, so which you're to the final option to think of that those words come from someone-friendly source.

OK. But only when Central Asia is returned to us, and as a whole, too, please.

And I'm guessing Persians will lay a claim on Anatolia, too. It was their empire a few thousand years back, now, wasn't it?

We can just sit on our horses, eating pastırma, drinking kımız and enjoying the spectacle when Greeks, Armenians, Kurds and Persians are "genociding" each other for a handful of land. I'm sure they will find a way to blame the Turks for that, too. "Why, oh, why did the Turks leave Anatolia and cause us to fight? They are to blame for all this killing we are doing! They are genociders! They must pay money to us!"

Isn't this fun!?

(I don't know which "we" and "us" I mean. Who is to seperate Asian blood from Muslimised Greek, Armenian, Assyrian,Kurdish blood, but who cares, isn't it? Just throw a trollish bait and wait for the fish to arrive. Come fishy fishy!)

We should be careful when adding apples and pears. These questions can keep going on endlessly. Let's see where they will lead us:
How about giving Crete back to Cretans?
How about giving USA/Canada back to native Americans?
How about giving Latin America back to Inkas and Aztecs?
How about giving Australia back to Aborigins?
How about Greeks going back to where they came from (Asia)?
How about Hungarians (descendants of Attila) going back to Central Asia?
How about the Anglo-Saxons giving Britain back to Scots and Welsh?
you see....
And who will you give Istanbul back to? Where are the Byzantines? They were certainly not Greek (Helen).
Kurds never had a state in history. Go to Turkey and ask a Kurd living in Istanbul if he wants a separate state in the south-east and if he is willing to go and live there.
