If you want a unique design that represents you as a person, you should probably draw it yourself. Think about things or people that inspire you to be the strong, good person you are, or reasons that you are who you are.
If you can visualize that, even without art experience, you can probably take a line drawing to your artist and talk it out.

What kind of strength as a woman? Would a pin-up girl or burlesque dancer be something that would interest you? This could show women being comfortable with their sexuality and embracing their bodies. Or would you prefer something that isn't at all sexual? I find a lot of strength and feminity in flowers. A blue lotus might be fitting.

Go to tattoo.about.com and search for tattoo symbols and meanings. The guide for that site has had several articles about symbols and their meanings. You might find something there.
