Your daughter sounds like a beautiful person. Congratulations. :)
Here is a link to locks of love, which is the best known organization to me for hair donations.

Panda had some wonderful information in her answer, but I just wanted to comment on one thing. Yes, hair loss is temporary for the kids who are getting chemo, but they will be going through those treatments for months. It also takes another 5 months or so for their hair to be as full as it was before the treatments started. Speaking from experience. I've been bald since January and my hair is just now starting to grow in again. My oncologist says that by December my hair might be as long as my hubby's. (who is keeping his hair trimmed quite short. LOL)
I think it's wonderful that your daughter is being so thoughtful.

First you need to make up your mind if you want to donate to people who have cancer and have temporarily lost their hair from treatment. If you do there are several good organizations to check out:
Wigs for Kids is one of the only organizations that gives children with cancer a wig:
http://www.wigsforkids.org/
Angel Hair Foundation - helps kids in Oregon, established by a 13 year old cancer patient
http://www.angelhairfoundation.org/
Little Princess Organization (UK) - for children with cancer who lose hair from cancer
http://www.littleprincesses.org.uk/
Pantene Beautiful Lengths - for adult women with cancer who need wigs
http://www.pantene.com/en_US/beautifullengths/
You can donate your hair to Locks of Love but it will not go for children who have lost their hair from cancer. Only about 3 percent of children with cancer ever receive a wig. The reason is because hair loss from chemotherapy is TEMPORARY. Please inform the public who seem obsessed with 'helping the kids with cancer who have lost their hair'. Hair loss is temporary. The hair returns a few weeks to a month after chemo stops.
Locks of Love gives wigs to HEALTHY children who unfortunately were born with a condition called alopecia areata. The public just thinks these kids have cancer because they are bald. Here is a website about the condition, which affects adults too. None of them have cancer.

Thank you for thinking of others.

I did that final 12 months! that's talked approximately as locks of love :D My hair replaced into large short by means of the time they decrease it off, They mistaked me for a boy a lot of situations. yet, whilst they decrease it, they have not got time to make it look incredibly so what they do is merely snip. What you ought to do is take her to a hair fabric cloth wardrobe and have them fix it.
