This guy I met at orientation and have seen a couple of times briefly just hugged me at the grocery store.?

What does that mean? We never have talked except for asking how each other is doing. I run into him a lot it seems.

Nothing.Hug is a demonstration of affection and some times is not more than that.Several times I had hugged people. For my is a demonstration of friendship.Could be females or males and the meaning is the same.Don't be wrong with your thinking.
