In April, I noticed that there was a round spot on my breast that looked something like a bruise, it had been there for quite a while, at least 6 months and I never thought anything of it... I did notice that my chest, just above my breast, seemed to be out more than the other side... I went to the dr. and I had an ultrasound and the ultrasound came back normal. I've been crazy busy since and haven't had time to go back to the doctor... but the bump on my chest seems to be a bit larger than it was before, its very flat and it is hard, and my dr. suggested that it may be muscle...
I have also notice two more much smaller spots on my chest, which look like bruises...
I decided to look it up and came across inflammatory breast cancer, could it be this?
I do not have itchiness, warmth, dimples,or anything like that, and it says the swelling is usually around the armpit, where the lymph nodes are, but mine is on my chest? I'm worried, does anyone know much about this, could i have IBC?

When the ultrasound was ddone, they said it was definitely lumpy and bumpy, but it was not unusual...
Most of my swelling or whatever is in the chest above the breast, and it is hard, not soft, kinda feels like muscle?

I doubt it is IBC, and if the doctor did an ultrasound and found normal tissue, then it isn't likely cancer either. Like he said, it could just be fibrotic muscle tissue, some people are prone to that sort of thing. If you don't trust your doctor, then by all means get a second opinion.

The lady with the nurses cap is right ,it is probably a fiberous tissue in your breast, fairly common and it tends to show up more so around your period. So reflect did it seem more pronounced at that time? and maybe slightly uncomfortable.?

I would definently go see a cancer specialist. Even if it isn't cancer the specialize in things that are associated with it. That is definently not normal and you shouldn't overlook it. Good luck with everything.
