All dogs shed. Even the so-called hypoallergenic ones.
Some breeds do shed less though. Wavy- and rough-coated breeds such as Poodles, Wire Fox Terriers, and Cocker Spaniels will not shed as much as Labs, Boxers, and Huskies. Also, the type of fur makes a difference in the difficulty level of removal. Short, coarse hair such as pit bull fur is a lot harder to get out of fabrics than Golden Retriever fur.

There is no such thing as a breed that doesn't shed. Even poodles, which are often advertised as non-shedding, do lose fur.
A very short-haired breed or brushing often can minimize the problem of shedding, but if you're looking for a dog that will not shed at all, you will not find one.

All dogs shed in someway. Unless you have a hairless terrier that has no hair to shed.
Some breeds of dogs shed more than others. Well groomed dogs like Poodles appear to shed less. Long hair dogs and double coated dogs appear to shed more than others.

There are no breeds of dogs that do not shed at all and anyone who tells you this does not know much about canines. All dogs shed to some extent. However, there are LOW shedding dogs. Malteses, Poodles, Shih Tzus, just to name a few.

There is one dog that I know of that is not only an excellent pet but it does not shed and it has no odor or dander. This is a great dog for people that are allergic to animals, usually they will not be allergic to this dog. It's a Maltese, some breeders and mixing Maltese and Shitz-tzu together and are having wonderful results. The pups maintain all the Maltese traits ie: no shedding, no order but they have some color to them instead of just the plain white. Here is a site of a breeder that has done just that. You can see pictures here : http://www.maltesepetitepaws.com

All dogs shed, just some less then others. The least "fur" offenders are poodles, followed by terriers with a wire coat.

All dogs shed at least a little.
And whoever said pomeranians don't shed have absolutely no idea what they're talking about. I own two poms and they shed like crazy. You have to brush them at least two times a week.

You would not want a Border Collie. They shed very heavily and you need to brush several times a week, sometimes once a day during the summer.
