I think they are a great bunch of people. I hear a lot of bad rap stuff going on here, but it is funny, because I don't think you will ever find a more loving, caring, and helpful people anywhere. I think that is people want to call it a cult, that is up to them. After all, the bible says everywhere in it to JUDGE everyone else, and to be rude to your neighbour, and lets not forget about telling others to take the mote out of their eyes.
Oh, wait, the bible doesn't say that at all . . ..weird. . .then why, pray tell, are so many 'christians' acting this way? I guess we will never know.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL
God, please, especially bless the lady who wrote 'morons' I know that she didn't mean it, and that it was a typo.

I'm glad they're in Utah and I'm not.
Mormonism seems to me like the greatest collection of fairytales and superstitions ever collected and spread as truth. Special underwear, a planet named Kolob, gold plates that were conveniently lost, which incidentally, would have weighed some 200 pounds, an awful lot for a man running through the woods to carry, Jews in ancient America, baptizing every name they can find and families reunited in heaven, and anachronisms galore in the Book of Mormon? It all seems like a bit much to swallow. As John Stossel would say, "Gimme a break!" The amazing thing is how much a person can swallow irf they are taught from the day they are born that all of this gobbledygook is real. For many people, this is enough to permanently taint their entire view of reality.

There, you asked for opinions, I gave you mine, and I wasn't rude - Nothing that you should feel any need to report to Yahoo.

I really think Mormons are good people. But I think they are sadly misguided. I pray Molly Mormom for you, that you will come to the truth and leave this cult. You dont need the Book of Mormon to be saved. In fact you need to toss it into the trash can. But honestly Molly, I really think Mormons are good people. Most Mormons that I have met are clean living and follow God's laws. They are kind and generous. The only bad thing is they are following a false prophet . Beware Molly false prophets can lead you straight to Hell.

Generaly speaking they are very nice,Godly people...I used to have Mormons friends. I do not endorse Mormon theology and am at odds with many of their doctrinal beliefs. I am not sure that all Mormons really know many of the teachings of Brigham Young or Joseph Smith.

I do not mean to be offensive...This in not to say that Mormons are not sincere in their pursuit of truth...

That being said....I do endorse the teachings of Robert O. Young, who is a bio-chemist and 4x Phd and great-grandson of Brigham Young. He is the founder of Inner Light and author of many health related books, including "The PH Miracle"

Mormonism is a cult. A false religion. Their doctrine includes Jesus is the half brother of Satan. Jesus is a created being. God and Ephraim had sex and send spirit babies to earth to test them and see if they will become gods of their own planet someday. Do more good deeds than bad, and you make it into godhood. But tell me this, who is keeping score? Like is walking grandma across a busy street worth 10points, but kicking a dog worth -25points? I mean, if you are going to follow this system, shouldn't you know the score?

It's crazy stuff. But you won't hear this from proselytizing Mormons. It's a secret. Beware.

I like Christianity a whole lot better. Repentance and Faith in Jesus Christ. We are saved by grace through faith and not by WORKS (my Mormon friends) lest any man should boast.
Amen.

I have nothing against the people I have many friends who are Mormons, it is the religion I am not sure about, my friends keep talking to me about it and I am not sure how to say no I am not interested it in without hurting them...other than that they are good people.

I think that mormons may be very sincere in their beliefs, but they have been misled. Mormons consider themselves Christian, but I don't. I think that they have been decieved.

I think they are sadly misguided. They follow a 33rd degree mason and moon stone seller errr... and much more. A mason is litterally a satanist.

I know they exist.
I think they should get shirts other than white, and they should re-think the title of "Elder" they give to 18 year old kids.
