I live in PA and am going to see a Yankee game but I don't want to drive into NY. I will drive to NJ and park my car but I don't know where to park my car and then board a bus or train that will get me close to the baseball park. I need exact locations/directions since I am not familiar with the area.

Your best bet is to hop on NJ Transit and get yourself to Penn Station. You may have to transfer at Newark or Seacacus depending on which line you take. My advice to avoid the transfer is to hop on either the Northeast Corridor or Dover lines as those two are direct into Penn Station, but NJTransit .com can help you with that as that I'm not sure where in PA your coming from.

Once your at Penn Station, walk across to the 34th Street Station(the one that appears to be under Macy's and the Manhattan Mall) and take the uptown D or B to 161st and River Ave stop in the Bronx, and that is Yankee Stadium. Be careful with the B though as some trains terminate a station or two before the Stadium.

There are only three lines that go to Yankee Stadium, B,D and the 4. The 4 is an East Side train which goes through Grand Central Station.

Drive to Journal square, then take the path train to 34th street, then take the D train to 161 street. When you exit the d train try to stay @ the back of the train. when exit you will see a huge park, make a left and walk two block down to the stadium. Enjoy and its really easy to get there if you follow the direction i gave you.

Where in PA do you live? If you can get to an Amtrak station that goes to Penn Station NYC you don't need to drive anywhere. When you arrive in Penn Station NYC, follow the signs to the C train (subway) in the building, buy a metrocard and take the C uptown to 161st/River Avenue, Bronx and you'll be at Yankee Stadium.

there are various buses between long island and New Jersey, yet there's no bus provider between long island and the city. it extremely is properly stupid, even regardless of the undeniable fact that it is genuine. To get from long island to NYC, you're taking the long island Rail highway into Penn Station. From there you may get NJ Transit Trains or path to New Jersey. Buses circulate into the Port Authority.
