The factory CD changer (in the trunk) no longer works. I have a 12 pin plug back there. Can I buy an adapter wire harness that I can route to the front of the car and plug into my iPOD and listen to it through my in dash system? Where can I purchase such an item??

The answer is almost certainly "yes", though we need the year and model of your vehicle to give you more information. It may be necessary to unplug the cable from the back of the stereo and hook up the i-Pod adapter there. Crutchfield is usually a good place to start looking for factory i-Pod integrators.
