I think he did alright. I laughed when he said that if Gordon's pit strategy worked with him winning, he will retire because he couldn't compete with that.

Kyle Petty is my favorite so when I had to miss watching the race yesterday because it was a dog showing weekend for me I was pretty upset. I was looking forward to hearing and seeing how he did in the booth rather than in the car. So I spent my entire drive home yesterday on my cell phone with a friend who was watching and relaying it to me. I kept saying "How's Kyle doing?" and even though she's a Smoke fan she said Kyle did a great job. I got home just in time for them to red flag the race so I missed ALL of it! Glad everyone thinks he did a good job. I'm looking forward to next weekend.

I thought he did a good job. He's no Benny Parsons, but he did a good job. I think he's a better commentator *sp* than Rusty Wallace, well better make that the whole NASCAR on ESPN crew. But this isn't about them, sorry. I think he does a great job explaining things to where people can understand what they're talking about. Take care, have a nice day!

I thought he did great especially under the circumstances, I mean because of the rain things didn't go too smoothly and I'm sure they all had to improvise quite a bit. I loved his comments about Gordon's finish and how if they already had a heads up he was retiring! I like Kyle and I'm looking forward to seeing him commentate.

I think maybe he should consider retirement from racing the car and be in the booth permanantly. I think he did great! His interviews they showed during the rain delay were awesome. He really nailed it for his first time.
Good Job Kyle Petty

I thought he did pretty well. In some ways, you can tell he's new to this, but he's got the point of view of somebody who's actually been out there recently and has some keen insights on some of the drivers.
He's a personal favorite, so I probably would have liked him even he sucked.
I look forward to hearing more.

I thought he did ok. He did miss the morning meeting, oops. I did like how he talked about putting the car into a slide around corners and things like that. It's nice to have a driver's perspective on the race during the race.

I enjoyed Kyle alot more than I thought I would. He's pretty entertaining to listen too, and I think we will all miss him when we have to listen to Rusty Wallace w/ ESPN!.. Sorry Rusty, You're a great driver, but you're boring man.

Kyle did great. He sure seem like a nice like-able guy.
Not to mention his charity work with the Victory junction gang camp after losing Adam.
Top notch dude even if he doesn't win races.

I thought that he did better in the booth than he would have on the track. He gave honest opinions about Kurt Busch even though they are friends. Thats all I ask for. He did good.
