wish to know history and manufacure of a 32 auto pistol reportedly taken from a German officer in WW2 only marking a design on bakelite grip may be R M F ser 62xxx....suggested possible mfg DREYSE but no info on Dreyse either.Holster includes pocket extra clip..just curious thanks

The pistol you have may be the Dreyse 1907 .32 ACP. It was manufactured from 1907-1919, and was a fairly common sidearm of German officers in WW2. The Dreyse company was founded by Nikolaus von Dreyse in the early 1800s.

Your description sounds like a pistol my Dad brought back. Just looked at pictures on 2 sites, One was selling for $395.00. They both looked like what he had. His had the firing pins removed prior to boarding ship coming back. If yours has one it might make it a bit more valuable.
