He would be what he was. Jewish. By today's standards he would be Orthodox.

I've been waiting for your question.
I strongly believe that Jesus would not belong to any organized religion of today unless he were to choose Judaism for the simple fact that that is where and what he was taught when he was here the first time (does history change much?).
I've felt for quite some time that if Jesus were to be alive today he would basically wind up doing to the Christians the same thing he did to the Jews of his day. He would call them on all on their s**t, tell them they've missed the entire meaning, and more than likely wind up being crucified (maybe not literally this time, but certainly hung) by the very Christians that proclaim to be "his believers".
From all that we know of his life, he was educated, very well spoken, knowledgeable of the scriptures of his surroundings and in the end pissed off some people that were able to pull a few strings.
What religion would Jesus belong to if he were here today? He was Jewish the first time just because he was raised that way, didn't much care for that and if he were around today, I doubt he'd belong to any major religion.
If I had to pick one out of sheer curiosity, it would be a peaceful one with a firm foundation in forgiveness of others. Does any organized religion really have or claim to be all that? Jesus would be just alone this time around as he was the first. And in the end, just as dead by the hands of those he was trying to help.

When Jesus returns, he will not have a religion, he will BE a Religion. The Son of the Living God is going to return to rule and reign over the world and there is not one thing any person, any faith or any false deity can do about it. He will do this because He has earned the right, paid the price with His own body, his own blood. He has paid "the Cost to be the Boss!"
So step up, step aside or step back. When the Saviour returns it won't be as the sacrificial Lamb but as the Lion of Judah. catch on while there is still time.

I... Don't think I'll be much help to tell you the truth... The only thing that came to mind was what you said, Christian. But why? Well, I was brought up thinking that Christian was where Jesus belonged and because he started it all... But don't get me wrong, I have no idea. I'm not even religious at all. Whatever happens, happens and I'm pretty much a 'go with the flow' type of person.
So yeah... Sorry. :(
I don't think that was even worth posting.
But now that I think about it, he shouldn't even have a religion. Or maybe he would start his own... Ehh... Who knows.

When Jesus was here he preached the cross and John 3:3 saying you must be born-again. It didn't have a faith name. There is a church in my state, the pastor has his own show on Sunday morning, his church is called Grace Community Church, there is no denomination, it isn't non-denominational. This is the kind of church that Jesus would lead but there are others that believe the same thing with a denominational name attached to them that he would agree with. My church would fit in here. It is a Baptist church, I believe my pastor said it was an American Baptist church. It isn't like any other Baptist church I've been to, the beliefs are different and fit mine to a T.

Jesus attended synagogue on the Sabbath and kept the Law
of the Bible to the Letter. But He fulfilled the Law with the sacrifice He made at the cross. So that if He were to come back to Earth
today I suspect He might not promote any religion, but rather a
"RELATIONSHIP" with the Father through faith in His Blood
Sacrifice.

If Jesus was live today, he'd be Jewish. Just like he was when He was alive 2000 years ago. Christianity wouldn't exist until after he died. He didn't start any so-called domination, He started His church. His church exists, and it has His name.
As Christians, we are here to preach the truth, His Gospel, to the non-believers.

Which ever one believes in him being the son of God, chosen to bring the new covenant to the world. Which ever one preaches love for all humans, and whose sole purpose is to spread the gospel of Jesus and salvation through him. Don't know what religion that would be but it's my understanding that that is what he believed and taught.

I don't think He would be any particular religion, or denomination. Jesus is supposed to be for everyone.

He'd be a Jew. Jesus was always a Jew. Followers of Christ are Christians. How could Jesus follow himself?
