perhaps you have wondered, well remember Jesus gave a commision to his followers (deciples) (Matthew 28:19-20) 19 Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded YOU.. . .
(Acts 20:20) . . .while I did not hold back from telling YOU any of the things that were profitable nor from teaching YOU publicly and from house to house. . .

Really, everyone who respects and obeys Jesus Christ goes from door to door to teach his neighbors about the Bible's good news. It is interesting that only Jehovah's Witnesses are so clearly identified with the preaching work; globally more than 6 million preach publicly each month.
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you.
(Acts 5:42) Every day in the temple and from house to house they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus.
(Acts 20:20) I did not hold back ...from teaching you publicly and from house to house
It's sad when someone who claims to respect the bible actually insults or even advocates attacking a peaceful preacher. Sad but completely expected.
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching... You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.
Really, if someone goes out of their way to disregard Christian preachers and preaching, what is he saying about himself?
(Luke 10:1-17) After these things the Lord designated seventy others and sent them forth by twos... “He that listens to you listens to me too. And he that disregards you disregards me too. Moreover, he that disregards me disregards also him that sent me forth.”

Yes I know why.
Quick story, I used to live in Orange,Ca about 10 years ago. Behind my apartment is this church. They used to have bands and activities over there all the time, kept me from sleeping many a time. Yet, in all the years I lived there, not once did they avail of their time to go through my neigborhood and invite my neigbors and I to their many picnics functions, or even to their church.
In contrast, you JW's are in the neigborhood a couple of times a year, and all you people want to do is invite people into a conversation of hope. How it is that your group alone is able to motivate it's adherents to give up their free time to try and help others is nothing short of a miricle in this modern selfish world.
Keep up the good work.

You come to our doors because you do not believe God cares enough about others to guide their lives, as He chooses and planned. Can you actually argue about that?
But what does that say about who and what you think God is, let alone what it says about your opinion of others?
By the way - I think all those who think God is such a limited and wicked parent as to only love them, are also wrong.

Yes, these are works to merit you Heaven. Job expounded on his righteousness, and he got a tongue-lashing for it. No one merits Heaven on their own.
You are not interested in dialogue when you knock on my door. Will you accept me if I knock on your door with my own apologetics, with nothing on my mind but convincing you as to how right I am?

Could you come during a time when I'm not working, busy, or eating? I've asked telemarketers to do the same thing.
I'm a writer, and the doorbell ringing is an annoyance.

One came to my house recently, the first for years - he looked so dejected and uncomfortable, I felt quite sorry for him. All he did was shove a leaflet in my hand and mumble something I can't even remember and shuffled away again.
