Could anyone (particularly tattoo artists) estimate how much this would cost? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v38/OcEaNBrEeZe055/tattoos.jpg

It'd be stretched out across my lower back.

I would say between $180 & $240 depending on how stretched out you do go with it. I'm sure the artist will redraw it so it flows and jives with your body. They know what works best and looks good.

I have a very large and very nice tattoo on my lower back I got it when I was 15 it is a very good tattoo but I really wish I would have not got something so permenant! I thought it was cool at the time even though I went through 3 hours of pain to come to the conclusion 6 years later the it was stupid!!

After you get an estimate go to a dermatologist to see how much it would cost to get it removed. Looked at the picture, what is it ?

I would modify it a bit more............it's kinda bulky........even it you stretch it out.
A lower back piece should have more in the middle, not too much now, and fewer and smaller as it goes out to the sides.
Plus, it should form with your body...........you know, how your back goes in, in the center that as it goes out on each side,
it should a little "curvy".
Hope you know what I mean.........and hope it helps.
good luck
