For a person to call themselves a Christian and not read their bible is to not know God. That is why in the face of adversities our faith is weak. How can you call on a God you do not know and refuse to obey.

Who ever hears Romans 10:9 will Recieve the FAITH (spiritual substance) that is Necessary for the Holy Spirit to use to RECREATE them (Recreate the spirit of that person) IF they confess Jesus as Lord and Believe GOD raised HIM (Jesus) from the Dead.
Yep, you'll get Born-Again if you do Romans 10:9.
Ditto............faith is a real spiritual substance, GOD don't Create or Recreate Anything with out using FAITH (a Real Spiritual Substance).

Faith does not necessarily come by hearing - not if you're a rational person, and certainly not if what you're hearing is unsupported claims about an inevident deity.
