Hi.

You can lose alot of weight by cutting out sugar.

1) Eat less sugar
2) Eat before 8 pm
3) Drink atleast 8-10 glasses of water
4) Eat healthy
5) Eat 6 small meals instead of 3 big meals
6) Count your calories

7) Last and the most important one, EXERCISE.

Exercise atleast 4-5 dayz a week for 1 hour.

The best exercise to lose weight is running on stairs. You can burn about 400 calories in 30 mins. Good Luck.

Hope that helps. :)

its healthy to lose 1-2lbs a week- if you are losing more its not fat but water weight and muscle you are losing and slowing down metabolism.
so it would be healthy to lose this weight in 5-8months
find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

It took me 5 months to lose the 40 pounds I gained from pregnancy, and I did that by breastfeeding, eating right, walking and doing yoga. I'm sure you can't do the first, but try the last three options!!

If you lose weight at a healthy pace...5 months at least. Any sooner and you are like, 10x more likely to gain the weight back...

You should cut down your portions when you eat (only eat until you feel satisfied, not full). Listen to what your body tells you.

And you should attempt to exercise everyday, or at least 5x a week for about 20 mins a day. If you do what you like as exercise you are more likely to stick with it.

Good luck to you, I am trying to lose weight right now too. So I guess, good luck to us both!!
