My wife and I entered one at Fitzgerald's in Reno once. We had a fun time playing and I was lucky enough to win a third place. I got my entrance fee back (not many people played that day). It was fun. I would enter another tournament providing the entry fee was reasonable, say $25.00 US. I'm not sure if this is what you wanted to know about, but......

If you are asking about the ones online, forget it. Not controlled and not legal. But those held in Vegas are real, controlled by the Gaming Board, and fun; most are even free.
