They're still making that vehicle, but they've changed the name to Taurus. They've also added some much needed horsepower, and changed the grill to look more like the rest of their stuff. It's a GREAT vehicle, but suffered from "dumb-name syndrome".

Also, the "Freestyle" is still there, but now it'll be called the "Taurus X". It basically was a 500 station wagon anyway, so the new names fit much better.

No. They are changing the name to the Taurus, which will be smart on Ford's terms. It will now have 3.5 liter engine with a V6 that will give it 263 hp. It will also have a new fascial change. The back and body will be the same, but the tailights in the back will be clear instead of red. It will be safer, actually being the safest mid-sized sedan in America, and will feature more up-to-date technology, like the Ford SYNC http://www.syncmyride.com/?bannerid=233433|15468556|69323496#/overlay/overlay_what_is_sync , and a lot other things. The interior won't be changed, maybe except for trims. It will get 18-28 mpg. Check it out here: http://www.fordvehicles.com/cars/taurus/

Yes and No. It'll be called the Taurus, get a new 3.5L V6 and some needed cosmetic work.

The new Taurus/Sable is an awesome car, defiantly a leader in all aspects of the segment.
