I came back from my 1st vacation to Thailand about a week ago and I am planning a 2nd vacation in August. Is there a limit to the number of times that I can enter the Kingdom as a tourist in a given year? For example, if I wanted to visit there every 2 months for a week or so, would this be okay??

Also, if I decide to visit for an extended period, say 60 or 90 days and got a toursit visa, could I then return at a later time on vacation again? For example, let's say I go there in September and stay for 60 days. Can I then later return in December on a week vacation again?

If you intend to stay less then 30days in thailand there is no need for a visa if you are from the following countries http://www.thaivisa.com/479.0.html

For extended periods up to 60 days you can apply for a tourist visa (before arrival to the city) and for longer periods than that you need to apply at Office of Immigration Bureau located on Soi Suan Plu, off South Sathorn Road, Bangkok 10120 , Tel (662) 287-3101-10.

I did hear about a new ruling for tourist from the exempted list of countries : tourist from exempted list are not allowed to stay longer than 60 days accumulated a year those wishing to need to apply for a visa as well

Assuming your nationality is amongst those who can obtain tourist visas on arrival:-
(a) the rule is no more than 90 cumulative days in any six month period.
but (b) on arrival you get a tourist visa only for a month.
So you can't stay for 60 days without leaving halfway through (say to Cambodia for a few days. There are many travel agents who organize "visa runs" to Cambodia, especially in Pattaya).
So you would be able to do what you quote in your example, but would have to interrupt the 60 days with a short trip out of the Kingdom in the middle of your stay.

There sure is. According to friends the number is 20 visits in a year. This is just hearsay so the next time you are going throught immigration just ask to be sure. Length of stay is no problem but make sure that you don't overstay your visa. You can always get an extension but they really don't like it if your visa expires and you are stil there. Always make sure that your exit visa is stamped because if it isn't they think you are still there and put you on the shi* list. Every couple of months for a couple of weeks. Don't even sweat it!!

easily the finished theory of a hell is stupid. it extremely is asserted to be a non secular place yet yet it has actual fire. it extremely is asserted to have somebody burning day and night for ever and ever. even regardless of the undeniable fact that day and night are results of a solar and moon in a actual planets orbit on its axis. additionally burning isn't achieveable to a minimum of a few thing that may not actual! Then there is the psychological factors of torture that could desire to prefer to be considered. If dying could be impossible then insanity could could desire to result. That or it is common to improve numb to the discomfort as one that is abused grows numb to the abuse. yet maximum of all it may prepare no longer something. it may in basic terms be sadism for sadism sake!
