i have been getting this rash for 3 weeks its worse at night ...i am getting tested today to see what i am allergic too.... but i thought you all might have some idea as to what usually causes it.... i am going crazy with the itch....i changed my washing powder and have sice changed back but that is the only thing that is different than normal other than i quit smoking cigarettes like 8 weeks ago....

sorry i am taking antihistamines but they are not doing much good.

Well hives is from an allergic reaction.

Along with the itching. Did your doctor prescribe any steroids?
If he/she didn't, they must have a real good reason why not.

Sounds like you need to knock down the symptoms and then worry about the cause.

you are eating or wearing or using something that is causing the hives=get an allergy test done =it doesn't take long and you will then know what to stay away from=good luck

It is usually caused by an allergy to something. Not much you can do except wait for the allergy tests. Also use an all natural laundry soap and stay away from the harsh ones you find in the grocery stores.

I get hives from stress. You can get it from food or something you got on your skin also. I would look it up on WEB MD and they could tell you every thing you would want to know about hives.

Well my dad got it! It was because he went for a allergy shot! And it seemed that the Virus in there wasn't weak enough so we had to go backand they gave him a shot so it can go away! I heard it hurts alot!!
