Yeah. Let the vet do it. OTC stuff doesn't work and can hurt the pups. Rx stuff gets all the worms the first time. Plus he'll weigh the pups and give the proper dosage.

Puppies need to be wormed at 6 weeks so let the vet give you the proper medicine . It is given by weight of the puppy.

The vet should have given you the worm meds and told you start giving them at 2, 4, and 6 weeks. That is the recommendation of my vetrinarian and I've had puppies in the house most of my life. In my opinion you should call your vet and get him/her to give you the wormer.
Good luck

with my dog who has puppies i wormed the mother - the puppies get the treatment thru the milk. When they are 12 weeks old you should give them their own treatment - on the packet it will give you the dosage.
it is important to do this, but you can do it yourself - the vet will charge you for doing it. Just read the directions carefully.

Puppies should be wormed from the time they start taking solid food with Panacur Granules or Drontal Plus Tablets at the following dose rates:
Panacur 1g per 10lbs (4.4kg) bodyweight daily for three consecutive days.
Drontal Plus 1 tablet per 22lbs (10kg)-body weight.
Puppies should be wormed using the above regime once a month until they are six months old and then four times a year thereafter.
