why not get your friends to each write something nice on the wall, then decorate around it with glitter and those craft paints, the puffy kinds.

You could go with white or light oak furniture for a cheery look. Make some of your dots larger and put the sayings in them or run the message over a couple of dots. You could use live, laugh, love. But I would change it a little and put: live long, laugh often, & love all. You could use lyrics from your fav music or song.If you have a fav poem or portion of a fav book you've read that would be your personality showing.I love your color choices.Don't forget to use textures in your decor also. Make some of the dots from fun furs or glo paint for fun.You could cut area rugs the shape you want from the fun furs that are available everywhere, even Walmart. Then use the same furs for pillow, dots, lamp shades, etc.You could also use silver/chrome for lamps, furniture, desks, pic frames, etc.Spray paint over some older pieces if you can't buy new furniture. You can also add mirrors to the front of old dresser drawers, side tables, cover a dot, etc. The mirrors come in 1/2 in. to large in sq., round, & rectangle pieces so you could have fun adding the glamor to your room.Have fun and enjoy your space that you create!Best wishes! NEXT DAY!ooooooh! I had another idea! It would be a modern but country/victorian look.Use the colors you have and use a white chennel bedspread with gauzy curtains or drapes.Cut the fur scrapes from the rugs into petals for flowers on the shams and accent pillows, etc.Use antique furniture or a white wicker set.Your bedroom would be a comfy cozy place with that zip of color that is YOU!

1] if the polka dots are big enough, make collages of different friends, and put them inside their fav color dots
2] don't use sayings and dots on same walls unless the sayings are in the dots - make them all the same theme: funny, or about one subject
3] use the pink, lime, turquoise, or purple for accessories:
color A [ lime?] for large accessories like bedding, drapes,
and pillows or a print of the three bubble colors
4] color B [ turquoise ] for medium accessories like chair, rug, lamps
5] color C [ purple ] for small accessories like candles, vases, desk or dresser accessories
6] furniture should be natural wood finish, or white, or black
7] add one metal to the mix [ brass, steel, silver ], no more

Hi! I love the colors you plan to put on your walls. But i strongly suggest you keep your furniture white so that it would not be too overpowering plus it helps give it a mod look. Also aim to buy modern style furniture because your color palette is on the modern style. Instead of putting quotes or quips on your wall, why not try putting graphic art instead? You can try putting retro dots, squares, vector flowers. You can get ideas from deviantart.com or pixelgirlpresents.com.

Paint a section of wall with chalkboard paint. It dries just like a chalkboard, so you can write and erase as you please!

I would use white or cream furniture since your colors are more pastel than bold.

When I first read your post I thought you were just playong around, that was until I saw your age. WOW! that's some wild room you've got going on there. With that color scheme I don't think any color that was just as brilliant would look out of place.
