Stop Generalising!!
the Christians you see on this site on make up a TINY MINORITY of all the world's Christians
the Christians i know are HUMAN, and ALL are human so we all sin. guess what? even you! :-P
Christians try to spread the Good News through thier actions and words. they try to spread the love of Jesus and do good for others
The two most important things we must do are
"love the Lord you God with all your heart, with all your mind and with all your strength"
and
"Love your neighbour as you love yourself"
these things esp. the 2nd one, are no easy and Christians are also subject o tempatation , just like the rest of the world's humans.
being Christian DOESNT mean that you are imune to sin, so therefore have a right to condemn others
no one has the right to tell another person that they will go to hell, or they will not be saved, etc. etc.
i now some Christians do that. its not right. i dont agree with them. as a Christian, i believe that only God has the right to judge!!
An ideal society for a Christian is one where everyone loves and respects each other. Where everyone says sorry when they do wrong and when everyone forgives those you wrong them
just imagine...if everyone loved and respected each other, there would be no war, no fighting, no voilence, no rape, no poverty etc. etc.
a perfect world is impossible to attain, but it is not impossible to try to love and respect everyone. if we all do our bit, then the world will become a better place
instead of pointng the finger at Christains, why dont YOU try and do somethng about it!!
you complain that Christians are just sinning and pointing out others sins. im sorry to tell you that you are doing the exact same thing!
We should all aim to have more tolerance and acceptance for each other. We should all try to aim to love and respect each other more
regardless of whether you believe in Go or not, we can all strive to be better people!!
i myself am i sinner and i do not always practice what i preach. ill admit to that! but it doesnt mean that i dont try!
God bless you!!!
:-)

Trying desperately to understand why Atheists can be so arrogant and judgmental while simultaneously insisting that Christians are the only group of people which are arrogant and judgmental.
No one said that you did mention arrogance or being judgmental. There was just something in the way that the question was phrased.

What do I do besides trying to earn a living to survive here on this planet, I am also trying my best to not offend anyone. If I sin I ask God to forgive me and help me to be stronger. Do I point out others peoples sins? Only when they affect me personally.
My function for the good of society is to be kind. I also give my support to others by enlightening them to help others in need.

Painting with the big brush again, eh, Junior?
Maybe you ought to narrow your focus a bit.
You might ask, "Do you like to point out the sins of others, and if you do, do you also like to point out the sin in your own life?" or something similar.
Now, I will answer your question, as best I can, as it deals with me as a Christian.
Every day, I am aware that I am not perfect. Every day, I ask God to help me to be more the person He wants me to be, and every day, He does. Progress is slow sometimes, but God has been good to me.
I don't really like to judge other people on an individual basis, because I don't know everyone else's circumstances. I do, however, explain what God has said about certian things, if I am asked, such as abortion, or homosexuality. II have counseled women who have had abortions...I did not judge them, I reached out to them in love. I have also had homosexual friends. I didn't preach at them, since they knew good and well what God's word says, and had chosen to ignore it...basically saying that God ought to do things their way, rather than the other way 'round. I don't try to impose my will on anyone, unless you consider the fact that I exercise my right to vote as I believe to be an "imposition" (in which case, I guess I hate it for you)...but I do pray for people.
When I'm not praying, I am writing.
What do you do, when you are not mocking the beliefs of other people?
How do you justify your existence in society, and in the world?

It's interesting that you, Scapegoat, are asking a question about sin and sinning.
Scapegoat and sin are forever intertwinned in the Bible. Lev. 16:8-10 describes the situation. You see of the two goats to be presented to the Lord, one will die as a sin offering, whereas the other will be set free in the wilderness. The one set free is the scapegoat, or removing goat, symbolizing the removal of Israel's sins before God.
Fortunately, offerings and sacrifices and scapegoats are no longer needed for atonement of sins. Christ's sacrifice is complete and sufficient for all. His blood was sufficient to purchase those who place their faith in Him as Lord and Savior from a justly deserved hell. Neither the children of Israel, nor Christians, no longer need a scapegoat.
Today, Christians are followers of Christ, and through the Holy Spirit reflect the love of God to a dark world. They love others as themselves. They share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all.

I am a Christian, and I can say that yes, sometimes I sin. Also, I sometimes judge other people's sins. All of that is wrong. The bible says I am wrong to do those things. In Romans 2:1 it says: " Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things."
So when I am not sinning or pointing out other people's sins, I am being convicted for what I have done, and must go to God and confess and ask forgiveness. As a Christian, I find that when I seek God, read His word and pray, it is easier to not do the sinning. Unfortunately, I am a human being with foibles. Sometimes I do not draw near to God. I need God to work in me to change my heart. I need to surrender myself to God so that He can work through me. When that happens others can see God's love, kindness, gentleness, etc. through me, but not because that's me. It will be because I have died to myself and God is able to work through me to benefit others. But it is a process. Christians are not perfect, but they have the hope inherent in God. God works in them to grow them.
I am sorry that you have had the occasion to feel judged by Christians. Look at God rather than at imperfect humans. Yes, we Christians are supposed to be light to the world, but we fail at times. But, God truly wants you to draw close to Him. The bible is true. I have learned that. God is real. Jesus Christ is real. But I can't make you believe that. That's between you and God.
