Need advise on my puppies swollen nose..?

The right side of my puppy's nose is swollen. He was playing with another dog right before it happened but nobody really seen what actually caused the swelling. The two pups were outside when it happened so it's hard for me to determine whether it was an injury or an insect sting. The area is very tender, as he will cry out when I try to take a look at his teeth. He visits the vet religiously, but it's Sunday, should I call after hours or wait until the morning? What, if anything, can I do for him tonight? Thanks in advance :)

it sounds to me like your puppies been stung by a bee. put a cold damp cloth on his nose not an ice pack as that can acctually damage the dogs nerves in its nose and take it to the vet as soon as you can as it could have an allergic reaction to the sting. it may not be a sting but its best to always know for sure.

Try giving him a benadryl. My dog is allergic to the rabies shot and gets near, but not exactly the same symptoms. A benadryl fixes her right up, I am talking about just normal store bought liquid benadryl, as advised by my vet. If the swelling doesnt reside the benadryl will at least help the pain. See a vet at nearest convenience.

Try putting a cold pack on the sore and hold him.. If is does not go down - Call the vet 1st thing in the morning...

put ice on it.
try to callteh vet and see if you can tell tehm what happened.
if it doesn't seem to bother teh airway you can wait and take him to the vets first thing tomorrow.
he might not like you to hold teh ice on but it's not what he likes but what's good for him.

TAKE IT TO A VET NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Because if it is infected youe pup can die
