I have a big (10 ft by 16 ft) shed that needs to be moved to a spot 50 feet away. I have heard stories of Amish folk attaching handles to barns and walking them. Can you find me a live link to a first generation news story (no blogs) with photo about moving barns or houses by hand? Thanks!

Below is a link to a youtube video of a retired construction worker in Michigan who is building his own Stonehenge without any modern machinery.

In the video he also moves his neighbor's barn by hand -- and it is far larger than 10' x 16'.

For those of us who have stood in admiration of the Egyptian pyramids built thousands of years ago, this just might help you understand that even back then, there had to be engineers with a lot of brain power as well as muscle.
