Depends

If there was a god who wanted me to know it existed, I would probably know it existed. I think a god would be, by definition, intelligent enough to figure out what would and what wouldn't convince me. Then it would be up to what I know about the god as to whether I chose to like it or not or even follow it. If there was a god that hid itself from me, I would probably just continue on as I am.

Well if God suddenly exposed himself I'd like to get him on a question and answer programme, and see him 'grilled' about things I can't understand.
Things like why we have landslips, earthquakes and other 'natural events' which prematurely kill off millions of innocents. And allowing idiots to get into positions of power/control and spoil the lives and minds of others.
etc.,etc
If I had a chance to change the Christian Faith I would simply change the order of Christ's Commandments to read/say:-

1).Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
2).Then, when you have learned how to love your fellow man, you may offer your love to the Lord thy God

The existence of God is self evident. Although God has made His existence and attributes plainly visible, he has given mankind FREEWILL, so that people are free to CHOOSE not to acknowledge God. Lazarus asked for the chance to go back to his family and warn them not to end up in the same torment. He was told : "They have Moses and the prophets, even if one should rise from the dead they still will not be live" So it is today, people come up with all kinds of philosophies and gather about them all kinds of teachers who will tell them what their itching ears want to hear. But God can not be mocked. for whatsoever a man sow, that shall he also reap. Thankfully we have a merciful God who is ever longing to take in his children as a hen calling to her chicks, If only we are willing.

Not again. Why do people keep asking this?

If there was a god, and he's like the Christian god of the bible, I'd rather go to hell. If he's the way you Christians claim (even though the claims have nothing to do with the bible or anything in it), then he'd forgive me for being wrong because he's a loving god right? If he throws me into hell anyway, then I'd rather be in hell.

That's just like me asking a christian:

What if...there was the flying spaghetti monster....what would you really believe? If there was a FSM and you had the chance to change to the Pastafarian faith before you died, would you....and what harm would it be?

I do not suspend disbelief if no evidence is presented.

I'm still trying to figure if science or the bible is right. Science has so much evidence but the biblical ways are what I've know since ever.

You're assuming that if it could be proven that a god does exist, it would be the one you believe in. Suppose it were proved that Zeus exists? Would you worship him?

This is a big if, but if there was a god of the type you posit, I would oppose him just as I oppose you. I want none of what you have or have delusions about.

ok... if there really was a christian god and we all knew it to be true. you'd have to be an absolute fuktard not to follow scripture. however, seeing that its absolute absurdity, we've nothing to worry about.

If there was concrete evidence that persuaded me he existed, I'd believe he existed, but I still wouldn't change my life to suit him.
