I believe you would be punishing a great number of companies for the poor procedures of a few. And with absolute minimal success at best. If we begin over scrutinizing the imported products from China, they will reciprocate in the same manner and cause harm to American companies which in turn will harm the American worker. Today alone, China began scrutinizing food and health imports from the US and have deemed several shipments as 'substandard'. These shipments included vitamins which tested positive for high sulfur levels and raisins with unapproved preservatives. These shipments were from large American companies. I would look at the large picture and see what the long term cause and effect could be from such an undertaking as a boycott.

One wouldn't, because everything is made in China.

One would be walking around naked with no electronics or plastics or toiletries.

One would quickly realize it's impossible to boycott all products made in China.

Try it. Not the boycott, just start noticing where your things are made.

A possible solution although I don't like it would be to lower the minimum wage in America so that jobs such as those done in China could be done here. This is obviously not a popular approach so maybe the U.S. could raise tariffs which is also not the best solution.

Just don't buy Chinese products.

How about a grass roots "Kick the FDA's *** because it doesn't do the job we pay it to do" movement.

Good luck in that endeavor.

If successful, you would single-handedly destroy the American economy.

Remember, the majority of our products are manufactured overseas (cheap labor, child labor, and sweatshops).

If you emptied the shelves of those products, it would take some time for American companies to step back in and fill the void.
