Political participation is the most important value in American Culture, due to the importance and notions surrounding it stemming from the founding of the country. Political participation allows for governmental accountability to the people, and would furthermore allow for political, social, economic changes to be initiated and/or stopped.

Economic freedom and social mobility (due to economic freedom) are also important values in American culture, as they are built directly into the system since we were founded by rich landowners/business interests anyways.

That's easy. To be free. Unfortunately, a certain someone has been making that difficult for the last 7 years because of quite a few bad laws. I believe it was Benjamin Franklin who once said "people willing to trade their freedom for temporary security deserve neither and will lose both."

But yea, I believe in complete freedom. Being able to do what you want, as long as it's not stealing, killing, or in any way against maintaining peace in society. Unless you are peacefully protesting. :)
