Is wrapping bran muffins in duct tape a good way to preserve them?

I cannot stress this enough, the duct tape must, I repeat must be White in color or else it is considered as a direct violation of code 421.94C of the "International Union of Bran Muffin Wrappers" (IUBMW)

Yeah, but after a while the sticky side of the tape mingles with the muffin flavor making the muffin stick to your tongue.
