i have heard of it, and alot of spiritual people whose opinions i respect have made reference the the Baha'i Faith. They speak nothing but blessings and thanks.
I did just purchase a book that has the basics on alot of the major world religions, which includes the Baha'i Faith..but i have not yet had a chance to read up on it yet.
Blessings and Peace to you!
Blessed Be

I am aware of the faith, but have no real standing on it. I don't believe that Baha'ullah is Jesus, let alone Muhammad or Buddha as well. I have hear that it is a very strict religion on its members, but people say that about every faith at some point or another. It is very accepting to women and against racism which i like, but not so much with gays. I live in Seattle, WA , USA.

It began as a movement within Shiah Islam in the 1840s.
It is an independent relgion now.
If you were to sum it up in one statement; it would be "Man is one, God is one, all religions are one."

I became a Baha'i in 1984. I think you're looking for people who aren't Baha'is to answer, but feel free to email me if you like or check out the web site I listed.

Yeah I heard of it in 1969 in the Army from members of the faith who told me they have gatherings on Friday nights.

Later I learned it's an off shoot of Islam that is not accepted by Islam.

That's about all I know if it, other than those I met were nice and sincere and, like me, drafted in to the Army.

We were all conscientious objectors. Mormons, Ba'Hai's, Christians, Muslims. Fort Sam comrades.

By the way, the first I talked with was 100% white bread American!

I think it's a form of Islam. I went to school with a bunch of Baha'i people and they were very nice. I never felt threatened around them.

I've heard of it. If it works for the worshipers, and it doesn't harm me, I'll accept their views. Whether or not I agree with them is another story.
