A healthy breakefast consist of: natural juices, fruits, cereals, and seeds and nuts.
Our body manages nuts better when eaten in the morning.
So to answer your question I will suggest that instead of eating oat meal every single day, try to switch it around with other cereals you can cook the same way you cook oat meal. For example: Wheat flakes, Millet, amaranth, and cornmeal. This are high in fiber, and have different nutrients that oat meal don't have. So by swiching them around, each cereal will compliment each other.
Acompany them with fresh fruits and raw/soaked almonds (for protein).
Eat it in this order:
1. Fruits
2. Cereal
3. Nuts
And if you are planning to drink something than let the drink be #1 and then follow the rest in it's proper order.
Liquids and liquidish foods always comes first. Our bodies give priorities to this type of foods. If you eat the dry foods first and then the liquid or liquidish ones, than your body will stop digestion in order to dry the liquids. This can cause fermentation.

Hope this info helps! :)

Fruits contain natural sugars and nuts are a good source of protein. So are eggs, but I'd guess that since you're having oatmeal (and it's new to you) you might be worried about cholesterol. You can leave out the egg yolks if you're worried. Egg whites are high in lecethin, which helps to lower your LDL. (This is the same lecethin that is in the oatmeal you're eating)

As for stuff to add into the oatmeal (you don't HAVE to ..) I'd say blueberies and strawberris are great if they're in season and you can get them fresh. The frozen stuff might not be worth bothering with once you've had fresh. Just slice and drop them into your bowl.. no cooking necessary.

I consistently positioned raisins in my Oatmeal yet you may consistently bypass over that and positioned another fruit in like blueberries or some thing alongside those lines. not count what I on no account microwave my Oatmeal, must be executed on the burner in case you decide on a competent consistency! I positioned a million cup milk on the burner for a minute or so or till superb and heat, then I positioned a million cup of previous shaped Oatmeal in for approximately 5 minutes with consistently stirring it...you do not would desire to yet I consistently save it shifting and not in any respect permit it sit down. After 5 minutes I positioned it in a bowl and positioned some million/2-a million Tbs of brown sugar, a million packet of splenda and then Raisins yet like I stated, you may consistently positioned a different form of fruit or no fruit in any respect. The trick is milk, on no account water!
