It seems that a number of Christians can't get their head around the idea that some people really don't believe in God and insist that secretly we do. Well, not only do I not believe in your God but I also think it even more unrealistic than a Deist's idea of God.
Why is it that you don't think it possible not to believe? Can't you imagine anyone else having different experiences and thoughts to you? I'd be intrigued to know the thinking behind this attitude.

To Jenblossom: As I personally have no doubt whatsoever that your "God" is a fiction I don't see that there is any risk in me not believing.

Lets not generalize,
All humans that have faith instilled within their hearts, regardless of their spiritual paths, wonders why it is that some souls cannot accept that there is a creative force behind all things.

The reason behind any faithful Christian's doubt in your view is the fact that we are not capable of fathoming the fact that we had an opportunity to witness to you and help you save your soul from eternal damnation and we did not take the opportunity.
As a Christian, I do not believe that there can be an ATHEIST in this world unless they are being held back by Satan, therefor, I feel it is my duty to help make more clear the risk you are taking.
he thing I must ask is
WHAT IF I AM RIGHT AND YOU ARE WRONG?
is it a risk you want to take, the fact that your chance will be passed once you expire and the judgment will be upon you - as the Bible states- you will be sent to be punished and tormented in the pit of fire and brimstone for all of eternity?
I wish that on no human, not even the unknowing so called "atheists".
I will pray you and all that are as naive as such will be made aware of the power of the spirit and make a change!

Respectfully and honestly :
I believe that the answer to that comes from you, since you are the one that keeps coming around the God topic, and the God questions, and the God answers. So you people are giving the impression that you are interested.
If you go to a shop is to look for something, or to steal. You can not steal salvation nor knowledge, and you say that you are looking for neither, so what then are you doing here?
Now if you are talking about Christians who go to you then you should ask them personally. Nice day to you.

Oh thay believe that there is people like that
But the thing is we love them and don't want to leave them like that and some even fell sorry for them because thay real don't know the Love of God and his goodness and thay real don't have a life because you are deid with God in your life.

Well, I would say that the "thinking behind this attitude," as you very clearly put it, is in essence, "God," Because what is behind this attitude? Truthfully myself. So the important thing to mention is that although I am myself, and I can think, I can never really think of myself and get a definite, objective answer, because that would mean I would have to sort of sever myself from myself, which is impossible. So "God" then is that hypothetical "end" to my thinking, or the "beginning" of my thoughts. Which is basically me. So what I am saying is that the idea of "God" is actually myself. So given this, if you say that you don't believe in God, my mind reverts to the idea that God is the Self, so that is basically like you saying you don't believe in yourself. Which is absurd. Of course, I will not be mad at you, because I realize this is all very difficult to discern. Peace and love.

Our job was to spread the word, it's done. I don't know anyone who hasn't heard. I've never tried to convert anyone and never will. If you don't believe, fine, I don't care. I do wonder why if you don't believe, you feel the need to hang out in this section though. I mean, I don't like craft stuff, so I don't hang out in that section, yet here you are.

Because, we have people in our church who thought the same as you are thinking now but someone planted a seed of God's word into their mind and God watered it and they thought differently over the years, then they Finally realized who God is.

because it pisses me off because People should believe in God after all the things God has done for everyone and the whole world. its a shame.but hey people who dont believe in God will regret it.

I don't think that way, I know I can't force anyone into believing and if someone don't or can't believe that is their choice. I allow everyone to believe what they want and that is fine by me as long as they allow me to believe as I believe.
