Satan's powers are limited. The believer in the Lord Jesus Christ has great authority over the enemy.......many Christians do nor know this, or exercise it. Check out Luke 10:17-20 and Mark 16:15-18 and John 14:12-14 and 1John 5:18-19 and the entire book of Job. Yes, the devil has power, but it is limited, while God's power is unlimited! That is good news. The committed Christian has nothing to fear.
There is coming a time when all of satan's power will be gone, for he will be thrown into the lake of fire, to be punished forever and ever. That too is good news!
I do not believe satan has the power to take a Christian's life, 'our lives are hidden with Christ'. Those who renounce God and the Lord Jesus, who absoluely refuse Him, those who follow the devil........they do not have any assurance of God's protection.
Many today are actively serving the devil thru devil worship, seances, witchcraft, horoscopes, ouija boards.....the list is long. These folks are in danger of their mortal lives, and their immortal souls.
Come to Jesus, my friend.......read His Word......fellowship with those who love the Lord.....ask the Lord Jesus into your heart.
God loves you - blessings !!

No, the bible said that The cherubim that became Satan (Ezekil 28:11) use the snake and God create and enmity between theseed of the serpernt and the seed of the woman, that woman is not eve that represent the celestial organization of God,
In Job 1:6 and 2:1 you can see how God and His sons were having a meeting and including Satn so he wasn´t a serpent he was a powerful evil creature.

Jesus is the Seed of the Woman who defeated the curse of death when He shed His blood for remission of our sins, & raised from the dead for us, victorious over death.
The serpent is just the flesh image of the spirit red dragon in the sky. The red dragon's tail swiped 1/3 of the angels out of heaven. So the ungodly angels follow satan (the dragon) and they are called satan also. I believe the demons are the offspring of the disobedient angels in Genesis6.

Satan has incredible power. All angels do. But their power is limited. God's isn't. God only let's Satan do what He can use to further the cause of Christ. If He didn't let Satan have a chance to work, trusting him, hoping that he will return to God, He would be the evil dictator and harsh judge that atheists make Him out to be. God, even now, would forgive Satan if he truly repented. If He can forgive the Father of Sin and Prince of lies, won't He even more forgive us?

The phrase "thou shalt bruise his heel" refers to Satan's repeated attempts to defeat Christ during his life on earth. "He shalt bruise thy head" foreshadows Satan's defeat when Christ rose from the dead. A bruise on the heel is not deadly, but a crushing blow to the head is. Already God was revealing his plan to defeat Satan and offer salvation to the world through his son, Jesus Christ.

Most Christian theologians treat this as a prophecy that is being expressed as a metaphor. Eve’s “seed” (singular in the Hebrew, so it is referring to an individual) is assumed to be the Messiah. Satan will do some minor harm to the Messiah, and the Messiah will do some major harm to Satan in return.

No he can not, your faith in Jesus has more power than he. By your faith and being filled with the holy spirit, he can be defeated. He knows your weakness. Satin can put thoughts into peoples heads and yes that person could kill. When you are filled with the holy spirit and some one is demand processed, by the power of Jesus, you can cast that demon or demons out of that person. Our church has cast out a few demons and seen many more.
