I'm probably going to get my drivers permit soon, and I need glasses to be able to see. Isn't there like eye drops or something to improve your eye vision without the need of glasses?

Do those red vein things in the eyes have anything to do with eye vision, or not?

(in case you're wondering, drivers permit is something that you need before the drivers license in some states)

If I used a special eyedrop or something to take away the red veins in the eyes, would that effect vision, or not?

What's the big deal with wearing glasses? I have worn glasses and/or contacts for about 30 years, and now I choose to wear ONLY my glasses. I don't find that they cause people to think negatively of me... after all, it simply means that the lens of my eye is distorted, it has nothing to do with my character as a person.

Safety when driving should be your top priority. Many people wear glasses ONLY when driving -- that's what I did when I first started, because at that time I only needed correction for farther distances. My vision has deteriorated over my life, so now I wear them pretty much all day every day.

As others have mentioned, vision can also be corrected with contact lenses and many people are helped by LASIK surgery. I'm unsure if they perform LASIK on teenagers, as body changes you are still experiencing can effect your vision.

Good health, nutrition, hydration and rest will help you maintain your vision. Some people with nearsightedness (myopia) can improve their vision to some extent through visual exercises; however, they do not restore normal vision and take a while to be effective,

Yes- you can improve your vision by doing eye exercises and there are several of these programs available on the net. If you don't want your vision to get worse, I would suggest that you only use your glasses/contacts when you really need to and also take regular vision breaks every 20-30 minutes when you are doing near work.

You need a permit in all states.
Yes, those vein things have something to do with vision, they supply blood to your eyes and if there was no blood supply your eyes would die. They have nothing to do with your prescription though.
There is no eye drops that will improve your vision. If your prescription is stable you can talk to your parents ad ask your doctor if you could be a candidate for lasik, you could also talk to your parents about contacts if you don't want to wear glasses.

The only way to know about your eyes is to have them checked. Some vitamins help improve sight but your not sure what the problem is. The red veins could be from blood pressure , allergies,or something more serious. Have it all checked before going for your drivers permit. Play it safe and for your health. Eye drops won't always work.

Contacts, surgery, glasses. Veins supply blood and nutrients to the eye and suggest you didn't get enough sleep or perhaps overindulged. They do not effect vision.

Contacts. You can buy them at Wal-Mart the day prior. But you will need an eye exam to find our your prescription

Or more permanently, LASIK surgery

unless you want to have surgery, which i don't think that your eyes are that bad to need yet, i would suggest contacts.
