You have a lot of plaque on your teeth, which causes gingivitis. if you don't have a cleaning and checkup, this can lead to increased bleeding and a more advanced form of gum and jawbone disease known as periodontitis. In other words, your teeth will ROT and fall out.
But this is what may be causing the bleeding. ew, this subject is pretty damn gross. You should obsess about your teeth as I do, LOL. Mine are perfect. You have to floss after all meals and brush at least TWO times a day. once before bedtime.
Dental disease can also lead to other health issues. Do some research on that. Can affect the heart by having plaque going into your blood stream.
Braces can make your gums reseed, which in years to come, can be really bad - can lead to tooth loss, etc.
It's all about COMMON SENSE

Bleeding from the gums indicates some kind of gingivitis or periodontitis, which can be very serious if not treated. Really, the best thing you can do is brush, floss, and SEE A DENTIST.

Also, flossing really helps , it reduces gum swelling & risks of gingivitis, so floss every single night, and try getting a soft bristled brush and massaging your gums every night.
