my dad is buying me a chevy blazer and i was kinda bummed because it doesn't have a cd player. i wanted to know if anyone knows whethr or not u can install a system?

Yes you can I did in my blazer, it isn't that hard to do it yourself. But if you have never done a car stero before, let someone else do it then. But if you know what you are doing it isn't that hard. You will need a wiring harness and a antenna adapter (Chevy doesn't make their factory antenna the same size as every car deck, so you need to buy an adapter)

Go with a head unit thats 130$ or more, because then they throw in all the extras for free (extras being wiring harness, tools to remove factory radio if necessary, step by step instructions, etc) something like the pioneer DEH3900 gives you the possibility of ipod plugged in to the aux input and also allows you to expand your system if you want subs

Sure thing---go to a store like Best Buy or stereo shop and check out what brands you like and speaker setups. They can do the install or do it yourself if you feel up to it....some stores sell radio harnesses that make it easy to swap in a new one.
