What are some of your favorite travel websites to browse?
I'm not looking for online travel agencies or airlines, but rather, interesting sites of locations around the world that offer history, photos, random facts, tips, and so on. It can be a site for a certain destination or a site which offers alot of information on many places. Thank you. :)

The best to satisfy you would probably be World 66 - http://www.world66.com/ , a promising work-in-progress travel guide to the world. It may also be a good idea to check Let's Go website - http://www.letsgo.com with its forum (which has unfortunately recently become a spam trash box). Otherwise - I would just suggest you to google your destination - the best travel guides are region-specific (e.g., http://www.rotravel.com/ for Romania, http://www.visitczechia.com for the Czech Republic, http://www.letsgohonduras.com for an unnamed country :-) etc.)

If your looking for a hotel to stay at then you can go to www.hotels.com it gives you all sorts of hotels all over the world. It gives you cheap prices ratings from people who have stayed there and shows you pictures and virtual tours of different places all over the hotel.
