My husband and I went to our neighhbors house (new to area) for a BBQ with a few other friends. When we got there the hostess, an attractive mid-thirties flirty-type, greeted us wearing a "beach robe" (they have a pool). Later in the day she went swimming and when she got out my mouth must have it the floor. Her suit was a one piece white material that left NOTHING to the imagination. Everyone at the get together now knows everything about her figure, including the size of her aereola and whether she shaves or not. There were no kids around, but 4 other couples. I'm no prude by any stretch, but I felt a little uncomfortable. She made no attempt to put the robe back on for quite a while. I believe in being proud of your figure, and even showing off with class, but this was far beyond just some cleavage or tight pants. Opinions??

That sounds trashy if she did it on purpose. If she was a good friend I would've pulled her aside and asked her if she realized her suit was see-through. She may not have known, some white suits are double-layered to avoid that very problem so she may have thought that was the case. Give her the benefit of the doubt, she may not have known. Next time she invites you over to swim though, make sure to privately ask her,

I rush off to the bakery and purchase a great Boston cream pie and cup cakes for the infants. Then %. up a bottle of wine . Head on over to their residing house and say " Sorry that i'm overdue,basically needed to %. up dessert and get a bottle of wine. wish white wine is nice. " so far I actually are turning out to be away with that every time.

Evidently this woman knew exactly what she was doing and if for some reason she didn't realize that she was leaving nothing to anyone's imagination her husband should have said something to her.
Then again maybe they are swingers looking for some new contacts.

That's my opinion!
The most attractive people in the world always leave things to the imagination. The insecure and immature let the world see everything.
I pity this woman, she must feel she has nothing to offer the world other than her body. Pathetic for sure.
((is it at all possible that she was unaware of the transparency of the suit? that happened to a friend of mine, she nearly died when it was pointed out to her, I don't think she wore a suit for the rest of the summer))

If she did it on purpose - it's an entirely different issue than if she did it on accident.
I had a great swimsuit - black with a teal blue band that ran across my breasts. It was awesome - fit perfectly. The first time I wore it to a pool, I was by myself. I didn't notice anything. The life guards were really nice.
The next time, my boyfriend went with me, and his eyes poppped out of his head. You could see - pretty much - everything on my breasts because it wasn't lined. I was horribly embarrassed.
Needless to say - I try out swimsuits in the shower at home unless they are double lined. ;-)
If she did it on purpose - there's not a single thing your going to be ABLE to do - other than avoid her. She's just trash.

It's possible that she wasn't aware that the suit left nothing to the imagination, and if it was me, I would want to know. If I were in your position, I would have pulled her aside discreetly and simply asked if she knew. If she didn't, then she probably would have thanked you. If she was aware that the suit was see-through, then it sounds like she is the type of person that seeks attention and may have self-esteem issues (Don't most people who do things like this on purpose?) If that were the case I would probably avoid her in the future.

was she aware that her suit was COMPLETELY see thru? I would've taken her aside and just quitely whispered that her suit is completely see thru. Or even now, bring up her bathing suit in a casual convo, and just ask if she meant to buy one so see thru?
Lol, or the next time u see her, buy her a suit that wont go see thru...

The woman has no shame. She should have had the decency to put her robe back on. I'm surprised her husband didn't make that suggestion to her. I don't think I would accept any more invitations from them.

I'm rude sometimes. I would've said, "Hey Marge, you look like a prostitute. My husband just threw up in his mouth."
