Because people are shallow and self asbored and don't care about other people.
But abstinence is the best way. Your gift for getting married is sex. It's a real shame. I hope you follow abstinence.

You can have love before marriage, and some people do enjoy it without love. While abstinence is a smart decision in order to be 100% safe from STDs and pregnancy, most people don't believe it is necessary if they are not religious, because a lot of the reasons to stay abstinent come from religion.

People have sex because it is normal and natural to do so. Marriage is a societal creation. OF COURSE people enjoy it! It feels wonderful. You can make love to someone who your not married to. When I lost my virginity I wasn't married, but I was very much in love.
I saw no reason to wait until I got married, since I was never planning on getting married. At 22 I did get married. Do I regret not waiting? NO! I made the right choice for me at the time.

When i was younger I always said I wanted to wait until marriage (for religious purposes). some where along the way I got off track. Initially it wasn't for love. It was more for validation and curiosity. Now some people don't feel the need for abstinence b/c sex is liberating for them or has nothing to do with love. Sex is different for each person. Now that I'm older, I regret losing my virginity for all the wrong reasons. Yea sex is great but to me it means nothing if your heart isn't in it.

Just because a couple isnt married doesnt mean that they do not love eachother, there are many reasons that people dont get married but think of this, people dont love eachother because they get married, they get married because they love eachother, and yes some people do have sex for pleasure. Its a personal decision, it may be wrong in some peoples eyes but it is their own decision and many times it happens spur of the moment and many times people just dont have the courage to say no to their partner. Hope this helps clarify.

I think some people do it for a feel reasons: A) Their teenagers . young adults and their curious B)They thing marriage is to far away C) Their not well educated D) They just like sex. E) They don't know about std's & don think they'll get them. Fact is anyone can get an STD. Doesn't matter who your are.
I personally am waiting until my boyfriend & I get engaged (when I'm out of college) So another 6 or so years for me. =)

Because satan (lower case) is a LIAR. He is an expert at getting us to question God. He did it to Eve in the Garden. Now he tells us "If you really love someone it's alright. If it feels so good, how can it be bad, God created sex too..." He attacks us where it can do the most harm.
Our purity and sexuality is such an important issue to us as human and spiritual beings, if he can corupt us there then he can create a stronghold.
God wants us to have GREAT SEX, but there are rules!
If you cannot face the tempatations before you are married what makes you think you will be able to resist them after you are married. They don't go away just because you are in love and said I do. Temptation is everywhere.
Learn how to say no to it now!

Mostly I think its curiosity, you know, sex is something new and different. Then later because sex is fun and enjoyable. When you are with someone who loves you unconditionally for who you are that makes sex even better. Abstinence isn't for everyone. Sex education [ when taught honestly] does nothing more than help people separate myth from fact. They still have the choice as to whether or not they're going to have sex.

Yes, some people think that 'sex' is very 'different' from LOVE, and it's 'true' ... but the 'best sex' you'll ever have is when you are both 'in love' and love your partner unconditionally ... my now husband and I 'lived together' and had sex before we got married ... but we KNEW we were getting married, and actually talked the minister who performed out wedding into doing it (on a ferry on Valentine's Day evening) because we really 'wanted and needed' to get married.

AH YEAH I ENJOY IT!! And I have slept with some real cold fish!! Imagine getting stuck with that the rest of your life just to follow some rule made up by a priest that was probably doing it himself.

what's the big need to wait until marriage? it's a piece of paper. you don't suddenly love your guy more overnight just cos you got married. my mum had my brother and i before she married my dad. why? because she had just got a very difficult divorce from a guy who smashed her face into walls and didn't want to go through that legal process again. i slept with my man before we married. why? because i'm having major surgery this summer which carries a high risk of death/brain injury and i don't want to never be able to share that with him. so just think before you put others down for making their decisions. you're in a very lucky position to be able to think the way you do
