You can marinate them and thread them onto skewers. I like metal ones. If you use the wood ones, soak them for two hours in water so they don't burn. I like to make a marinade from garlic, lemon juice and fresh basil or thyme.

I like using the metal skewers since the wood ones tend to burn. Marinate your shrimp over night in sauce of your choice and then layer several shrimps onto the skewer- may want to do pineapple and peppers with it and then cook until pinking up. YUMMY!! Have some dipping sauce on the side, but not the same sauce you marnated in and can use the sauce to brush on while you are cooking.

It depends on their size;-} Aussie shrimp are like lobsters.
If big enough, put several on kabob skewers.
But be sure to pre-soak the skewers overnight.
Or get a wire mesh basket or metal pan with small holes.
Be sure the shrimp are well brushed with oil first.
You can flavour the oil with crushed garlic cloves.
Keep the heat fairly low, they'll cook fast.
As a last resort, you can always use a fry-pan.

Wrap in Bacon & put on the Skewers.
Hubby do that now for Us. Yummy!!
