Dreams are as much revealed by the dreamer's description of them as they are by what takes place within them.
Why do you think of it as sounding louder than an 'atomic bomb' before beginning to whisper? Why not louder than an airplane or an earthquake?
Human suggests connection, something familiar. A voice connects with others of a similar speech pattern, so a human voice naturally is meant to be heard by other humans. The fact that it is louder than an atomic bomb suggests that the human voice, despite how 'loud' it is, is not being heard and therefore is trying to become soooo 'spectacularly' loud so that no one will be able to ignore it.
However, the fact that it goes whisper quiet afterwards suggests that the voice, whatever it stands for, after making itself as loud as possible, felt humiliatingly ignored. If no one hears you scream, then no one will hear you whisper, and the whisper was the quiet defeat or retreat after the effort.
My interpretation solely.

was the voice screaming of words that you can understand? were you able to see the source of the voice? It certainly was a negative force because you were disturbed by the loud sound. What was it whispering about? In my view, the loud voice signifies a problem or situation that happened in the past which haunted you deeply and the silence after this signifies that you tried to forget about it because of the emotional effect it had on you. You will remember it again but this time you will have the solution to that problem which may be given or advised to you by a friend and it will be the start of a peaceful life for you.

My opinion. The fact that you can't remember ever having the dream but you know you have feelings of it.
I would think that this is a previous life coming back to you. You may have had a hard passing over to the otherside as the calmness which you describe as a result of the screaming brings peace and and softness. This could be your soul passing over to the other side. It is your soul's memories of your previous life that you are recalling. It is nothing to worry about simply enjoy that the fact that no matter how hard things get there is always peace waiting for you.
Much love

I'm not really exactly sure how to interpret your dream, but from what I believe is that dreams are fears you have in life. Maybe you have experienced something almost traumatic in your life that led you to have these dreams. Also, dreams could be things in your mind that is not important to be kept stored in your memory, so dreams basically flushes out "In-important" things. I'm sorry for not really knowing a good answer, but I hope this helps. Good Luck! :)

it sounds like something very different to me...it sounds as if when you have this dream you are in a state of influx...you are confused about which path to take...what decision to make...you fight yourself about it until literally you are screaming in frustration...it becomes louder because the more that thought is in your subconscious the more it is causing the anguish...as it becomes low it appears that while you may not know the decision consciously...your subconscious knows what is best and is coming to some peace with it...when we whisper...we no longer need to scream to get our point because we are comfortable with who we are and what we believe...
of course this is just my feeling from your dream but i don't think we have prophecies come in our dreams...just our subconscious working overtime...

You may want to see a psychic about that. Recurring dreams like that are obviously a message from the spirit world. I'm only just developing my psychic powers (seriously), so I can't help you further at this time. Good luck, anyway.

You have been playing too much sport and has tired you out. But you have got an important match to play and you have'nt got to miss it. You are oversleeping the time and a mate of yours is trying to wake you up...you can hear him but you are still tired. Not exactly a dream but certainly is real.
