No.
From what we can see of the universe, it is quite nondeterministic.

I believe in fate but not one that shackles your feewill.I believe in a God who among other things is omniscient. Therefore tomorrow when I go out and do A, B and C it will seem from my perspective that these are freely chosen actions but in another sense God knew them in that He foresaw them but didn't infringe on my freedom to choose them.We are all walking a path laid out before us however hidden, difficult or rambling.Like Carl Jung I believe everything happens for a reason and his idea of synchronicities might convince skeptics that something mysterious usually positive was meant to happen and couldn't be chance - just too unlikely. The Eastern ideas of karma, reincarnation and samsara all resonate with the above idea.Nirvana might be defined as escape from fate, Heaven could be the preordained goal of the Elect (but we don't know who they are until our own moment of judgement).

I do not believe in fate per-se but I believe God has a plan for us all and the only way we can follow that plan is to be a faithful follower of His word and the path set for us by Jesus and the Bible.
Man was given free will and uses it in whatever way he sees fit with some influence from satan and his demons unless Christian. Whilst ever man follows satans lead, the world will continue to deteriorate until the day Jesus returns and ...as the Bible promises...throws the devil into the abyss.
You have free will to do whatever you all want but believe me I have learned that being a Christian is much better than boozing myself silly, smoking like a chimney, swearing like a trooper and fighting everything and everyone that got in my way. I now try to do everything God wants of me and am so much happier with my life....try it..it works.
Best wishes, Mike.

Yes I do.
If I hadn't decided at the last minute to go out clubbing that thursday night 5 years ago I might never have met my husband and I wouldn't be the proudest mum alive to my 19m old son!

Nope. The universe is chaotic - leave home a minute earlier and you crash, killing someone important and bringing about the collapse of civilisation. Life is full of Butterfly Effect events like this, and can't possibly be predicated.

Yes and no. God leads us to do things or see things or situations that can inspire us or are just "meant to be" but not everything happens for a reason. God gave us free will. If everything happened for a reason, then we would all be devout disciples of Christ. Unfortunately, that isn't the case.

I don't know if I would call it fate, but I believe we all have a purpose or a reason for being here.
I think we actually choose it before we come and I believe our spirit guides and people who influence us, choose to come with us, either spiritually or physically.
