After 22 yrs of marriage, 4 yrs ago I found myself back on the dating scene. With not many places in my town to meet people my age, and after a few failed attempts at other relationships I decided to try the dating websites. I have been matched with who I thought to be some very nice men. After only a short conversation each one brings up sex. I can tell they are seeing if they can get me to cyber with them. If I were interested in cyber sex I would go to the sites where that is done. Why cant these men understand that not every woman wants to talk about sex right away. Yes it is an important part of a relationship, and I am no prude, trust me. I have wondered if maybe this is a way they are weeding out the good from the bad, to see if the woman is easy or if she is someone they would trust. But when they see I am not easy, they move on. Is there not anyone left that wants to get to know someone before jumping into bed with them or that does want a good trustworthy woman?

They are not testing you. They are scoundrels that are only after one thing.
I have traditional values and it would not only be disrespectful to you but to myself if I were to give in to my sexual desires without becoming close and intimately connected with you. Personally, I believe sex should be put at the bottom of this list: Become friends first. Form a trusting relationship. If you fall in love with each other, then get married and have all the wonderful sex you and he desire.

well, I'm not a man, and I'm not 40 yet, but I can say, it really doesn't matter with age. Even men over the age of 40 cyber. I know what you mean about that. I myself, hate it. Truthfully, if you want to meet a good guy. Don't do it at bars, clubs and especially online. I have many guy friends, and they told me they don't take internet girls seriously. When I was single- I swear, every guy I met online were weirdo's.

Men are different to women in as much as their hormones make them think about sex throughout every day and the feeling of needing to have sex dominates their behaviour.
A lot of men are either just looking for sex or looking for early sexual gratification and then see how the relationship goes on from there. Unfortunately this is at odd with women who prefer to go out with a man first and then if they click and or she develops stronger feelings for him then embark on a physical relationship.
There are men who are prepared to be platonic until the relationship moves on, but very few who are prepared to just be friends indefinitely unless the friendship was established as that initially - you wont find these on a dating site.
AS for wanting a good trusty women most heterosexual men would like one, pref sexy as well.
Keep looking be attractive, dont be desperate and be happy to be single while you are. Circulate in different circles not just singles clubs which tend to be predatory and be pleasant and open minded to the men you meet. Sooner or later you wiill find someone who wants someone like you and not just easy sex.

well firstable you just got out of a ralationship so i would take it easy at first get to know yourself better and then if you are interested in dating i would suggest first people that you know of to meet someone or if you are not happy with that try the dating sites but the reason some man do that is to see how you woman would react an how you would answer to them they too want to make sure you are a respectable woman and not have just anyone but yes most men want to know right of the bat to see if they are compatible with you in bed dont ask me why but men are more phisical as for woman are more for the emotional as in men it works backwards if it is good sexwise then its good in a realtionship and emotional part as well and as you know and many woman know that sex its a very important part of any relationship but if they dont answer you back then its their loss not yours belive me there is some good outhere and bad as well but dont let that discourage you my suggestion to you and other woman outthere is to just go with the flow and see what happens but if you are not happy with the quality of people that are in there then i suggest you change websites and try another you can try this place its amazing what they have there its call red light center of course its an adult website but yet you can meet many people and get to know them in a different enviroment but as you go in there everything is cyber so try it and see what happens here is the website

Cathy S, I am with you darlin,people have gotten way out of control ! You sound like my kinda girl but hon I"m sorry but I am disabled. I was married only 7 years, found out she was cheating, got drunk and crashed my motercycle and then gave her everything just to get the divorce finalized. That was 22 years ago.
